BlockRivals Terms of Service

Effective date: 11 September 2026

These Terms of Service apply to use of the BlockRivals mobile game. By downloading, creating an account, or using the game, you agree to these terms.

1. Service

BlockRivals is a competitive block puzzle game. The game provides username-based account creation, device registration, account recovery via a recovery code, rating, leaderboards, match history, and replay features.

The game shows advertising: rewarded video ads (shown only at the player's own request) and a banner ad at the bottom of gameplay screens, served by Google AdMob (see the Privacy Policy for details). The game does not use third-party analytics. In-app purchases are not offered at this time; these terms will be updated if they are introduced.

2. Accounts

To use the game you choose a username; this name is visible to other players and is your account's single public identity. Your device is automatically linked to your account. If you switch devices, you can regain access using the recovery code shown to you at registration. Keeping your recovery code safe is YOUR responsibility — if you lose the code and access to your account, recovery may require identity verification through support and cannot always be guaranteed.

3. Acceptable use

You must use BlockRivals fairly and lawfully. The following are prohibited:

• Using cheats, bots, automation, reverse engineering, or unauthorized clients.
• Attempting to manipulate rating, leaderboards, or match results.
• Attempting unauthorized access to servers, APIs, or other users' accounts.
• Abusing the username, recovery-code, or device-registration systems (e.g. mass-creating fake accounts).
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, illegal content, or behavior that violates others' rights; using offensive or brand-infringing usernames.

If these rules are violated, access may be restricted, records may be corrected, or the account may be closed.

4. Community and user content

In the BlockRivals Community section you can publish posts and comments, like other people's content, and report rule violations. The text you publish and the username shown next to it are published publicly: visitors who are not signed in, and search engines, can see them. Do not put personal information about yourself or anyone else (address, phone number, email, school or workplace, identity documents) into community content.

The following are prohibited in community content:

• Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, threats, bullying, or targeting an individual.
• Sexual or obscene content; any content that endangers or sexualizes minors.
• Illegal content; incitement to violence, crime, or self-harm.
• Spam, repeated posts, unsolicited advertising, fraud, phishing, or malicious links.
• Sharing another person's personal data without permission; impersonating someone else.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or any other third-party right.

Moderation. Posts and comments pass through an automatic content filter before they are published; text containing prohibited language is rejected up front. Content is also reviewed after publication: reported items are examined manually. We reserve the right to remove violating content from public view without waiting for a report, to restrict the community access of the account concerned temporarily or permanently, and to apply the sanctions in Section 3 where necessary.

Reporting. Use the Report button next to any post or comment to tell us about content you believe breaks these rules. Your report is written to a moderation record together with its reason and the username of the reporting account; that record is not public, is not shown to the content's author, and is used only for the review — it is needed to prevent duplicate or malicious reports. You can also report by email to 43softwareltd@gmail.com.

Appeals. If your content was removed or your community access was restricted, you may appeal the decision: write to 43softwareltd@gmail.com with your username and, if available, the link to the post. Your appeal is reviewed and the outcome is sent back to you the same way.

Rights in your content. The content you publish stays yours. By publishing it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive and revocable permission (licence) to display, store, and technically copy or reformat that content on the BlockRivals website and in the game. This permission exists only to provide the service; we do not sell your content and do not hand it to third parties for marketing. If you want your content removed, send a removal request with your username to 43softwareltd@gmail.com.

Age. The community section is subject to the age rules described in Section 8; if parental consent is required because of your age, you must obtain it before publishing content.

5. Gameplay data and competitive integrity

Rating, match history, and replay moves are processed for competitive integrity. Server-side records may be used to correct errors, prevent abuse, and keep leaderboards accurate. Values displayed by the client are informational; final decisions about competitive data are based on server records and game rules.

6. Local data

The game may store language, sound, vibration, and graphics preferences, the tutorial flag, a progression/best-score cache, a session file, and a refresh token on the device. You are responsible for the security of your device and app data.

7. Account deletion

You may delete your account from inside the app or through the methods described on the Delete Account page. After a deletion request is completed, your username, identity, device records, and session tokens are deleted; match history may be retained a while longer in de-identified form for competitive integrity. Limited records may be retained longer for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Children

The age groups for which the game may be offered depend on publication-country rules, store age ratings, and parental consent requirements.

9. Intellectual property

The BlockRivals name, game design, software, visual assets, sounds, and related content belong to their respective rights holders. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the game. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use the game or its assets.

10. Service changes

Game features, modes, account systems, and technical infrastructure may change over time. The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, security, errors, or legal requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

BlockRivals is provided with reasonable care, but it is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. To the fullest extent allowed by law, liability is disclaimed for indirect damages, data loss, service interruptions, or competitive ranking losses.

12. Privacy and cookies

How data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy. Users in Turkey are also covered by the Data Protection Notice (KVKK). This website does not use cookies (see the Cookie Notice). By using the game, you acknowledge that the processing described in the privacy policy is needed to provide the game service.
